First Time Manager

First Time Manager– From Specialist to Manager is an intensive and practical program for the development of managerial skills for people taking their first steps in management.

Five two-day sessions. 80 hours of classes using methods based on group interaction and experience. Combined with the knowledge of the latest scientific research and tools, the program leaves Participants with the feeling that they know what and how to do to increase their managerial effectiveness.

Each session is devoted to a different, important topic that new managers may struggle with – from understanding themselves in a new role, through team management, motivating people, dealing with difficult situations, or building a culture of innovation. An important element of all workshops is addressing the current challenges of the business environment – working in constant change, managing diversity, dealing with flexible forms of work in teams – remote work, hybrid work.

Programme goals:

• learn and practice key managerial activities based on the latest trends
• diagnosing own management style and becoming aware of strengths in dealing with managerial challenges
• exchange of views and good practices in a group, encountering different styles of solving managerial problems
• leveling competence gaps in fields such as knowledge, attitude and behavior due to the variety of topics covered
• discovering and usage of modern tools to improve the manager’s work
