Professional experience:

Assistant professor at the Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University of Technology. He specializes in machine learning, reinforcement learning and the applications of artificial intelligence and autonomous systems in business. Author of the books Artificial Intelligence in Management. Self Learning and Autonomous Systems as Key Drivers of Value Creation. Edward Elgar Publishing (2020) (Polish edition: Artificial Intelligence in Contemporary Organizations. PWN Publishing House (2021), and Artificial Intelligence in Value Creation (Palgrave MacMillan 2019, Polish edition: Artificial Intelligence in creating organizational value, Edu-Libri, 2018).

He has over a dozen years of experience in the implementation of ERP systems of large e-learning projects and human capital management (UMCS in Lublin, Polish Virtual University, Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, Polish Airports, KRUS), implementation of SAP and Oracle systems in the area of ​​human resources management (IMPEL SA, PZU, KRUS), strategic consulting for the public sector (Ernst & Young projects for the Ministry of Regional Development, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education; the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland). For nearly 20 years, he has been sharing this experience teaching at prestigious MBA programs, in particular at the Business School of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Gdańsk Foundation for Management Development.

His professional career also includes research in the area of ​​intellectual capital, entrepreneurship and globalization (co-author of the methodology of selecting companies with high globalization potential (Global Leaders of the Future project implemented for PKO BP) and conducted in cooperation with Harvard Business Review Polska (as part of Think Tank Polska GoGlobal ) subsequent editions of this competition). Author of many publications and reports in the area of ​​intellectual capital and innovation (in particular GoGlobal: a report on the innovativeness of the Polish economy; GoGlobal Polish Pharma: a report on the innovativeness of the Polish pharmaceutical sector; Lublin Intellectual Capital; Strategy for the development of telemedicine in the Lublin region; Polish intellectual capital;). Plenipotentiary of the Mayor of Lublin for Innovation.

He completed many advanced educational programs in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning (including AI for Business Leaders Executive Program, Artificial Intelligence with Specializations Nanodegree, Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree, Data Scientist Nanodegree and Deep Reinforcement Learning Nanodegree) and Internet entrepreneurship (Tech Entrepreneur Nanodegree) at Udacity.com.

A graduate of the Maria Curie Skłodowska University in Lublin (PhD in physical sciences). He completed MBA studies at the Lublin Business School and the University of Central Lancashire and the Art and Science of Coaching course at Erickson College and the Jagiellonian University.
