Through much of his career combined business experience with academia. He holds a PhD in Economics from Imperial College London and MBA and Engineering degree from Warsaw University of Technology. He was a lecturer and currently is Director of the Business School at Warsaw University of Technology. Pawel is a co-founder of INVEN Group, a company which invests in and develops power projects. He is also Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Columbus Energy, a leading provider of the residential photovoltaic installations in Poland. Between 2006-2008 he was a Board Member of Polish Grid Company (PSE) and CEO of the Polish Energy Group (PGE). Before PGE he was a Partner in consultancy Central Europe Trust, where he completed number of advisory projects for the top international and Polish companies from the energy sector.
