Aleksander Grzeszczak

Professional experience:

Aleksander Grzeszczak has for the past 10 years been a senior advisor to Value Discovery Partners (VDP), a mid-size private equity investment fund focused on emerging markets, particularly in South Eastern Europe. Prof Grzeszczak has executed a number of acquisitions in the region and is currently responsible for the restructuring of the operating companies, executing business plans, and acquiring and selling assets. He is also a founding partner of Chronograph Finance Ltd., a corporate finance advisory, private equity, and buyout company. Outside of the PE industry, he is a finance faculty member at Judge Business School, Cambridge University. Prior to VDP, Aleksander Grzeszczak was a Vice President in the Telecom Investment Banking group of Salomon Smith Barney (now Citigroup Corporate & Investment Bank), where he spent 5 years, first in the New York office and later in London. In that role, he executed a number of advisory, M&A, equity, and debt financing transactions for SSB’s American and European clients.

Prof Grzeszczak is a graduate of Columbia Business School, where he received a joint MBA/MIA (finance) degree. He also holds an MSc degree in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering.

Prof Grzeszczak is a lecturer in finance at Judge Business School, Cambridge University, and Hult International Business School.
