25 stycznia 2024 o godz. 17:00 odbyło się kolejne spotkanie on-line z cyklu wykład inspiracyjny „Striving for Positive Impact: GIM’s Responsible Management Journey”, które poprowadziła prof. Divya Singhal z Goa Institute of Management w Indiach.

prof. Divya Singhal – Dr. Divya Singhal is a Professor in the area of General Management and Public Policy and Chairperson of the Centre for Social Sensitivity and Action at the Goa Institute of Management, Goa, India. She is also She has experience of approx. 25 years with 20 years of full-time in academics. Her teaching and research interests are development, responsibility, pedagogy, and management. She teaches Sustainable Development, Research Methods, and Music and Management courses. She was awarded a doctoral fellowship from ICSSR New Delhi. She was privileged to lead several impactful projects with national and international collaborations. She has published books and many research papers. She has led the Indian component of the AHRC/PEC-funded project exploring the impacts of the Covid Pandemic on Indian Supply Chains (2020-21) and the British Academy and DFID-funded project Tackling Slavery, Human Trafficking and Child Labour in Modern Business (2017-19) with University of Leeds, UK. She is engaged in follow-on project funded by AHRC as a co-investigator on exploring Cotton Hidden Voices (2021-2024). She is part of the MSD 10 social responsibility sectional committee, BIS, Govt of India. She has been contributing to international networks like PRME, Global Business School Network, Network For Business Sustainability etc. She has been part of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Education Committee and Confederation of Indian Industry Western Region Education Taskforce etc. In 2022, she was listed in the prestigious #ThinklistImpact created by the CBOS Bath University UK.

„The session will focus on the efforts made by the Goa Institute of Management in introducing various initiatives toward responsible management. It will provide an orientation to participants about the decade-old service-learning pedagogy-based community engagement program at GIM and its impact. The session will engage participants in a discussion on how business schools can create a positive impact and will also provide insight into our associations with PRME, GBSN, PIR, and other national/international entities, as well as how we derive value from these associations.”.
