On 12 February 2026 we held another Inspirational Lecture.
Lecture titled ‘UK and EU Labour Law: Divergence, Continuity, and Worker Protection’ was delivered by Dr Jonathan Lord – Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Post Graduate Research Director at Salford Business School.

This guest lecture explores the foundations of UK and EU labour law, examining how employment rights have developed, where the two systems continue to align, and where they are increasingly diverging. Drawing on case law and recent legislative developments, the session considers the practical implications for workers, employers, and HR professionals operating in cross-border or UK-based contexts.
