Professional experience:Head of maradDesign, industrial design designer, and lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk at the Faculty of Artistic Design. Marek Adamczewski has nearly 300 design projects implemented in production, ranging from rail vehicles to lighting and electronic equipment.
Apart from designing, his passion is teaching. Shortly after graduating from the Pedagogical Secondary School, he won the competition for the assistant position at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He was vice-rector for student affairs at this university, dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Design, and vice-rector for education and development. He was the supervisor of over 50 diploma theses and five doctorates. Marek obtained his postdoctoral dissertation on rail vehicles control panels designed by his team. For special skills related to teamwork, he was awarded the Designer of the Year 2006 title by the Institute of Industrial Design. He holds the title of Honorary Professor of the Warsaw University of Technology and is a member of the Council of Scientific Excellence.
