Leszek Juchniewicz

Professional experience:

Special guest of the first edition of the Renewables in Business.

Since 2013 he’s been an advisor to the President of RP Employers in energy affairs. He’s a graduate of economics and electrics (postgraduate studies) from the Warsaw University. PhD in economics. For many years he’s been professionally affiliated with the economics department of the Warsaw University.

He’s a long-term lecturer in the postgraduate course ‘Pieniądz i Bankowość’. He’s also a long-time commercial banks worker including a position of a vice-president of Polski Bank Inwestycyjny S.A.

Since 1994 in a general administration – as an undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Ownership Transformation, undersecretary of state at the Ministry of Treasury, between 1997 and 2007 – chairman of the Energy Regulatory Office.

Repeatedly, in corporate supervisory bodies of commercial law as a chairman of the stock exchange, chairman of the RN ‘Petrochemia Płock’ S.A. Between 2007-2012 – the chairman of Mostostal Zabrze Holding S.A., was quoted on the GPW. He’s an expert and a consultant i.o. at Antitrust and Regulatory Studies Center at the Management Department of the Warsaw University.

Author and co-author of several dozen articles and a few scientific books in the field of finance, and economic policy including regulations in energetics and privatization.
