Jarosław Gracel is the President of the Management Board of ASTOR and Director of Industry 4.0. A graduate of Automation and Robotics, specializing in “IT in control and management” at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.
He also completed postgraduate studies in “Production Management” at the European University in Krakow. At ASTOR, he was responsible for the technical aspects of implementing MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) class production management systems, and economic analysis of investments in automation and production management systems. He helped build concepts of production management systems, including for ArcelorMittal Poland, Nestle Polska, Cereal Partners Poland Pacific – Toruń, Volkswagen, IKEA Industry, LOTOS Asfalt, and LotteWedel. He was the originator and the first editor-in-chief of the magazine for production companies – “Biznes i Produkcja“. He was also responsible for the forming of the company’s consulting department and the investment strategy in Industry 4.0. He is the co-author of the concept of “Inżynier 4.0 ™”.
From 2016-2017, he participated in the work of the Industry Transformation Team at the Ministry of Development. He has expertise in economic efficiency analysis of investments in automation systems, IT systems in production and supply chain management, and robotization of industrial processes. Jarosław at AGH (Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza) in Krakow, researches the impact of process automation on building a strategic advantage for production companies and the implementation of Industry 4.0. He also has international qualifications in the field of project management confirmed by the PRINCE2® Certified Practitioner certificate. He has a “Professional Diploma in Marketing” diploma from the British Institute of “The Chartered Institute of Marketing”.
