Inspirational Lecture André Mierzwa – The Human Factor – How to strike a mutually beneficial deal with a financial investor | 20 June 2024, 5:00 P.M.

On 20 June at 5:00 P.M. there was held  another inspirational lecture (online) in English.  This time we met with André Mierzwa – a lecturer of the Warsaw Technical University Business School, who held the lecture: „The Human Factor – How to strike a mutually beneficial deal with a financial investor “.

André Mierzwa is the Managing Partner of 21 Concordia, a private equity fund investing in Polish private companies. The strategic partner is 21 Invest, a Franco-Italian group that manages over 1.5 billion euros, led by Alessandro Benetton.

 About the lecture:

Any entrepreneur looking to finance growth of his/her business has several options, from going public to finding a strategic investor. Striking a deal with private equity fund seems to offer best of both worlds – the owner can still retain operational control of the business and plan to sell it later at a premium to present valuation. There is one “but”. Reaching a mutually beneficial deal for both entrepreneur and the fund. And sticking to it.
