Professional experience:

For over 20 years Gabriela Sujkowska has been professionally associated with the public health care sector. She gained experience in crucial institutions responsible for the shape of the health care system – the Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund, the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariffs, and the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology, and Rehabilitation in Warsaw.

She co-created the Polish system of valuation of medical services from scratch, based on the experience of other countries. For many years she has been involved in the area of ​​rare diseases and activities necessary to create the Narodowy Plan dla Chorób Rzadkich.

Gabriela is a university lecturer, author, and co-author of articles, books chapters, and monographs in the field of health economics. In the years 2011-2014, she represented Poland in the European organization MEDEV, based in Brussels, assessing access and reimbursement of innovative therapies in the individual Member States. An expert in the area of ​​HTA, EBM, and the pricing of medical services.
