Achilles Georgiu

Professional experience:

A Thought Provoking InfoSopher and Professional MazeRunner. He had been thinking about becoming a chef, but then he found himself in the middle of the information age and started seeking knowledge by asking basic questions about the ethical and moral aspects of technology evolution and its impact on business and society in general. He is an inspirational speaker, who has been awarded twice as the best teacher by two universities. His personal goal is to burn pictures into people’s minds via metaphors and visual stories in order to transform them into future e-Leaders, who understand technology evolution and adaptation to everyday business environments.

Achilles is a Senior Adjunct lecturer of Digital Transformation, e-Leadership, and Sales & Negotiations courses at the Executive MBA program of the Department of Economics and Business at Central European University and a member of the CEU Innovations-Lab Management Board. On top of this, he is a visiting lecturer in the Executive MBA program at Warsaw University of Technology Business School.

Besides MSc degrees in Computer Sciences and IT Management, he has more than 25 years of international and multicultural experience in the field and ample knowledge of standard IT management and control frameworks with a special focus on personalized human motivation, team building, and innovation management. He worked for several international companies in the past. Currently, he is working at IBM as the Technology Support Services Sales Leader for Eastern Europe Territory. Apart from being an ITIL Expert, he is also a Subject Matter Expert in solution sales and cross-industry specializations.
