Technology specialist at the Institute for Renewable Energy (IEO). For over 5 years involved in projects related to the OZE market and the implementation of new technologies.
He obtained his doctoral degree at the Faculty of Physics of the Warsaw University of Technology for his thesis on thin-film solar cells. He also graduated with philosophy at the University of Warsaw.
At the Institute of Renewable Energy, he deals with key aspects of photovoltaic technologies: from their production methods to economic analyses. He is responsible for the technological part of one of the flagship projects related to the construction of the so-called “Giga-Fabryki” of solar cells in Poland. It operates in the PV Sector Agreement in the “industry” and “education” sections. He is a co-author of many technical and market reports, often combining technological and economic aspects.
He was a scholarship holder of the industrial cooperation program with Taiwan, he cooperates with foreign research units in Germany (Institutes: Fraunhofer ISE and Weierstrass). He is the author of articles in renowned international scientific journals. He was the contractor of projects implemented under the programs of the National Science Centre, the National Center for Research and Development and the UE Horyzont programme. He is currently researching various concepts to increase the share of RES in the Polish heating sector and is looking for business models for various energy storage technologies, including seasonal heat storage. Since 2019, he has been conducting lectures, and exercises at the Business School and reviewing diploma thesis in postgraduate studies “Renewables in Business”.
Polish
