Wojciech Izbicki is a lecturer in the postgraduate program “Interdisciplinary Studies in Pharmaceutical Management” at the Warsaw University of Technology Business School, where he teaches courses in pharmaceutical sales and marketing.
With over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Wojciech Izbicki currently serves as Business Unit Director for Rare Diseases at Novo Nordisk. Over the course of his career, he has also gained experience as a Regional Manager in the Commercial Access and Strategy department for the SEEMEA region (Southeast Europe, Middle East, and Africa), where he successfully managed market access strategies and commercial initiatives.
He possesses professional expertise in hospital pharmaceutical product management and tendering processes, which has enabled him to effectively introduce products to the hospital market and achieve significant sales results. Throughout his career, he has worked for renowned companies such as Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Pfizer, and Janssen-Cilag, where he gained experience in portfolio management and the development of marketing strategies.
Wojciech Izbicki has a proven track record in leading sales teams, and his efforts have contributed to numerous awards, including “Best Sales Performance in the Europe Region 2018” and the title of “Most Innovative Manager” in 2020. It is also worth noting that professionals mentored by Wojciech Izbicki have gone on to win top salesperson titles both nationally and across Europe.
His extensive experience in market access and health economics has enabled him to effectively shape tender strategies and implement projects related to product management in the field of hemophilia. In addition to managing teams, Wojciech Izbicki organizes and conducts training programs for employees, focused on developing key competencies.
He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Białystok and has completed numerous training programs in personal effectiveness, pharmaceutical product management, and leadership development.
In his free time, Wojciech Izbicki enjoys spending time with his family and engaging in outdoor activities, including cycling and hiking.
