Michał Ćwil

Professional Experience:

A graduate of the Faculty of Technical Physics and Applied Mathematics at the Warsaw University of Technology. He pursued his doctoral dissertation at the Warsaw University of Technology in the field of thin-film solar cell absorbers. For many years, he served as the Director General of the Polish Chamber of Renewable Energy. From 2008 to 2017, he was associated with Polska Grupa Biogazowa S.A. Since 2017, he has been responsible for overseeing the development of biogas plants at livestock and food processing facilities within Gobarto S.A., part of the Cedrob Group.

Since 2012, he has also run an investment advisory practice focused on organic waste management and the development of energy sources based on self-consumption in food processing enterprises, particularly biogas and biomethane plants. He has been actively involved in the development and legislative work concerning the renewable energy and cogeneration market, initiating many legal solutions that were subsequently adopted. He has led international projects on energy strategies and the implementation of EU directives into national law.

In 2013, he received the title of Promoter of Renewable Energy. He has been the director and lecturer of four editions of postgraduate studies in investment project management at Łazarski University. He is the author of over 100 industry and scientific presentations and publications in the field of renewable energy.
