Dr. Maria Kierska is an attorney and a member of the Renewable Energy Team as well as the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration Team at DWF Poland. Her professional experience focuses on transactional and regulatory matters related to renewable energy, as well as on dispute resolution before common courts in a wide range of civil and commercial cases.
She specializes in projects concerning the development of offshore and onshore wind energy, solar energy, and renewable energy sector agreements (vPPA, PPA, DSA, BoP, TSA, O&M). She advises renewable energy producers, banks financing RES investments, and large electricity consumers in the process of entering into long-term cPPA agreements. She is also involved in litigation before common courts in the field of commercial contract law, including, among others, supply agreements, construction contracts (including contracts based on FIDIC standards), liability for damages, interim measures, and enforcement proceedings. She represents clients in commercial negotiations and mediations.
