On June 12, 2025, the subsequent webinar in the Inspirational Lectures series was held: “Sustainable and Circular Manufacturing in Europe”, led by Prof. Sergio Terzi.
Sergio Terzi was a Full Professor of Industrial Technologies at Politecnico di Milano, where he also served as Associate Dean for International Relations. His main research interests lay in the domain of advanced manufacturing, focusing on making it smarter, cleaner, and more sustainable.
The lecture addressed the need for modern, sustainable manufacturing and explained how to bring it to life. Examples from real-world projects and case studies were presented and discussed, and a tentative roadmap for companies on their path toward sustainable manufacturing was outlined.
