
Mr. Andrzej Mierzwa is the Managing Director of Polventures Limited, providing investment advisory and M&A services to international investors and Polish entrepreneurs. He serves on the supervisory board of Bossa S.A., the Business Advisory Council of the Warsaw University of Technology Business School, and is a member of the Association of Polish Economists.
From 2012 to 2025, Mr. Mierzwa was Managing Partner and a Board Member of 21 Concordia, a private equity fund investing in Poland’s mid-cap companies. Between 1996 and 2011, he co-founded and served as Managing Partner of Concordia, an investment boutique advising clients such as Pernod Ricard on the acquisition of Wódka Wyborowa and France Telecom on the purchase of a controlling stake in Telekomunikacja Polska S.A.
Earlier, from 1989 to 1995, he was a founding partner of the London-based strategic consultancy Central Europe Trust Co. Ltd, chaired by Nigel Lawson, advising Western corporations on acquisitions in Poland and Central Europe, as well as on the privatisation of Polish food companies, Stalexport, and Stomil Olsztyn. From 1985 to 1989, he worked for Booz Allen & Hamilton in Paris and London, advising the governments of France, Great Britain, and New Zealand on industrial restructuring and privatisations, as well as multinational corporations on restructuring and market strategies. He also contributed to telecommunications and broadcasting legislation frameworks for the UK Government and the European Commission.
Mr. Mierzwa holds an MBA from the American Graduate School of International Management (1987) and a degree in International Trade from Katowice Economics University (1978–1982).
