Urszula Orzel brings over twenty years of professional experience in the pharmaceutical sector. Within a top international pharmaceutical firm, she has held executive positions both in Poland and abroad. She held the position of Managing Director in Bulgaria, and then she was in charge of an oncology field in Central–Eastern Europe (CEE), ensuring patients’ access to new technologies in five countries.
At an earlier stage of her career in Poland she worked in key areas of sales, marketing, and market access (among others as a Market Access Director for Poland).
Urszula Orzeł completed post-graduate MBA studies in the field of management and marketing at the University of Stockholm. She pursued her further education in the field of Executive Leadership at Simmons University in Boston and IESE Business School in Barcelona. She is also a graduate of the University of Economics in Cracow.
Her interests encompass non-profit activity in the scope of health promotion as well. She paid particular attention to women’s health as a member of Management Council of The Foundation for Women’s Health in Poland and an Executive Ambassador for Europe within ‘MfM Foundation’, an initiative for decreasing perinatal death rate of mothers.
