New Venture Product Project

New Venture / Product Project provides a practical understanding how entrepreneurs approach building a business, and how corporate executives use the startup methodology within a dynamically changing context, in a corporate setting, to launch new products and/or services. Each student will work in one of the two streams: i) learn how to launch a startup or ii) learn how to launch a new product/service, based on the methodology sourced from the startup world. Students, who have an idea, which they would like to turn into a business, will have a chance to work through a proven framework, validate their idea and work step by step through the selected issues when launching a startup. Students, who prefer to learn about launching a new product or service within a corporate setting, will work through the steps of evaluating the idea, and finding the product/market fit in an agile, startup-like way.

New Venture / Product Project will challenge students to think of business not in a vacuum, but in a wide context considering competitive landscapes, conflicting interests, institutional gaps, global potential, market needs.

Modules are designed to help seasoned executives transform their thinking and vision in a dynamic environment.

The course teaches specific practical skills that are required to become an effective and successful entrepreneur and/or intrapreneur.
