For over 20 years professionally associated with the public health care sector. She gained experience in key institutions responsible for the shape of the health care system – the Ministry of Health, the National Health Fund, the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariffs and the National Institute of Geriatrics, Rheumatology and Rehabilitation in Warsaw.
She co-created the Polish system of valuation of medical services from scratch, based on the experience of other countries. For many years she has been involved in the area of rare diseases and activities for the creation of the National Plan for Rare Diseases.
University lecturer, author and co-author of articles, book chapters and monographs in the field of health economics. In 2011-2014, she represented Poland in the European organization MEDEV, based in Brussels, assessing access and reimbursement of innovative therapies in individual Member States. An expert in the area of HTA, EBM and the valuation of medical services.
